Hamlet help please!!!!!?

I have an essay question that I do not fully understand and could really use some help on. Essentially, the question is: Choose a minor character in the play as a chracter foil for Hamlet and explain how the relation between Hamlet and the minor character illuminates the meaning of the work. Now I have already chosen a foil in Young Fortinbras but I'm not sure as to how the relationship could illuminate a possible meaning of the play. If you have an idea as to how the relationship could illuminate the meaing of Hamlet please respond asap! Also, feel free to use different characters I'm completely open here I just need to relate the relationship to the meaning of the play. Thank you all.
