How long will uncooked chicken keep in the fridge?? Need an answer ASAP because I'm about to cook it!?

I had kept some chicken frozen and thawed them out last sunday and put them in a bag with some seasoning to marinate. Its Saturday night now and I'm ready to cook the chicken...so its been thawed out for 6 days now. I cant smell the chicken to see if its gone bad because It has the marinate in the bag but do you think its ok to eat????? I'm going to grill the chicken, idk if that matters. Please help as I have my grill heating up and need to know if I should throw something else on for my guests. THANK YOU!!!
