Psats are coming this wedensday...?

99th percentile in your state to qualify as a National Merit Semifinalist, around 210-230, depending on where you live. Colleges won't even see your PSAT scores, so they won't care, though it does look really good if you're a semifinalist, or even commended (96th percentile in the nation, usually 200+). If you try, you should probably be able to improve at least 15 points or so, dunno how that would affect your percentiles, but you probably should be able to get up to Commended. Though, as the person above me said, that's not enough for the regular National Merit scholarships, but there are a few special corporate scholarships that you can still get, though not nearly as many.
