What size ugg should i get?

im a size 9 in asics. i plan on getting the clic tall. the chart on the ugg website says I should get a size 8, but a lot of people tell me different things about the size of uggs. some people say get a size smaller than usual sizes, and some people say 2 sizes smaller. which should i get?
