How do i know if a guy likes me over texting?

i like this guy but idk if he likes me back i mean,we sometimes text 24/7 sometimes we text every 2-3 weeks and i wanna know if he likes me,he goes to my school but never talks to me in person only over texing is he embarrased to be seen talking to me.we have this nickname for each other.and his really cool and he asks me questions and when i answer he says thank god.and i dont know if he likes me,i mean i really wanna know
